A formal announcement was made by Akal Takht Jathedar Giani Kuldeep Singh Gargajj following a significant gathering of the five Sikh high priests in Amritsar. The Akal Takht’s assertion is based on forensic analyses conducted by two recognized laboratories, which confirmed that the videos circulating widely on social media had not been altered and were genuine. “The conclusion from both labs is that this video is authentic,” stated Gargajj, emphasizing the credibility of the forensic units involved in the assessment.

Gargajj highlighted the natural appearance of the video, saying it resembled a typical setting where shadows fell naturally, indicating that it was not a product of digital manipulation. The jathedar also mentioned that the Akal Takht had reached out to the Chief Minister back in January, following his public willingness to undergo a forensic examination of the videos. However, he noted that there had been no response from Mann’s office since that communication.
