Delhi Police Arrest Four in Connection with Tiger Shroff Attack

The Delhi Police have apprehended four individuals linked to the recent assassination attempt on Bollywood actor Tiger Shroff, who narrowly escaped an attack in Mumbai. This incident, which occurred on a Sunday, involved gunfire that left two people, including Shroff’s driver, injured.

According to reports, the attack was claimed by Anil Pandit, an alleged member of the notorious Lawrence Bishnoi gang. In an audio clip that surfaced online, Pandit indicated that Shroff was targeted because he allegedly ignored the gang’s warnings and continued his collaborations with fellow actor Salman Khan. It is noteworthy that Bishnoi, currently incarcerated in a Gujarat prison, has previously issued threats against Khan’s life.

In a related development, the Rajasthan Police arrested three suspects in Kota on Monday, furthering the investigation into the shooting incident. The arrests in Delhi took place on Tuesday, as authorities apprehended Radha and Babita at the New Delhi Railway Station, while Kunal and Sumit were detained in Sonipat, Haryana. Police sources have revealed that Kunal, who was recently released on bail, was introduced to Pandit through a mutual acquaintance. He is believed to have procured a pistol and twenty rounds of ammunition upon the gang’s directives.

Authorities have disclosed that Kunal persuaded Radha to accompany him to Mumbai with the weapon two months prior to the attack. On October 15, the duo, along with Babita, traveled from Delhi to Mumbai by train, allegedly carrying the firearm intended for Shroff. The situation has raised concerns about gang-related activities targeting public figures, highlighting the increasing danger posed by organized crime groups to individuals in the entertainment industry.

As investigations continue, the Delhi Police are working diligently to uncover further details regarding the involvement of the arrested suspects and any additional connections to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. The incident not only underscores the risks faced by celebrities but also emphasizes the need for strengthened measures to ensure their safety amidst rising threats from criminal factions.
