The injuries were reported from various countries, with 32 occurring in the UAE, 24 in Oman, 13 in Kuwait, four in Qatar, and one each in Saudi Arabia and Israel. These figures underscore the significant risks faced by Indian expatriates in the region.</p> <p>In light of these tragic events, the Indian government has initiated measures to support those affected. The Directorate General of Maritime Administration has announced that families of those impacted by the conflict will receive an ex-gratia compensation of Rs 10 lakh for each case involving war-zone incidents.
