Retired IAS Officer Anil Verma Appointed as New Chairman of West Bengal Public Service Commission

According to the government notification, Anil Verma will take charge as the head of the state’s premier recruitment body, which is responsible for conducting examinations and overseeing the selection process for various government services in West Bengal.

With his extensive administrative experience, the state government expects the Commission to further strengthen its recruitment process and ensure efficient functioning. The appointment has also generated interest among government job aspirants, who are hopeful of a transparent and timely recruitment system under the new leadership.
