Recent analysis from global meteorological agencies has confirmed the onset of El Niño conditions, particularly impacting the equatorial Pacific Ocean. In India, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has indicated that these conditions are likely to strengthen as the southwest monsoon unfolds this season.
