India Dismisses Pakistan’s Claims Linking It to Karachi Militant Attack

In a strong rebuttal, India’s Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) has dismissed the allegations made by Pakistani officials connecting India to a recent militant attack in Karachi that resulted in the deaths and injuries of several personnel from the Pakistan Rangers.

On Saturday, a violent incident occurred when assailants targeted a Rangers’ camp in Karachi. The attackers reportedly detonated explosives to breach the camp’s gate, leading to the tragic loss of three lives and injuries to four others. Following the incident, Pakistani military officials suggested, without offering substantial evidence, that the attack was orchestrated by an Indian-backed group.

Responding to these claims, MEA spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal emphasized that Pakistan should focus on addressing its internal issues rather than deflecting blame onto others. He urged Islamabad to take concrete measures against the terror elements on its soil. Jaiswal’s statement reflects ongoing tensions and the complex relationship between India and Pakistan, where accusations of cross-border terrorism are often exchanged.

In a related development, Pakistani Information Minister Attaullah Tarar announced on Monday that Pakistani forces had conducted airstrikes in eastern Afghanistan.
