Delhi Government Orders Enhanced Safety Measures for Buses Following Disturbing Minor Rape Incident

The Delhi government has issued a series of urgent directives to bus operators aimed at enhancing passenger safety following a shocking incident where a 17-year-old girl was raped by the bus driver and conductor. This heinous crime took place on August 4, as the bus made its way from Greater Noida to Kashmere Gate in Old Delhi, covering a distance of nearly 47 kilometers.

The accused, 39-year-old Kuldeep, the bus driver, and 26-year-old Sandeep, the conductor, have since been apprehended by the police.
