Trinamool Congress Faces Uncertainty as I-PAC Suspends Operations in West Bengal

However, an email from I-PAC’s human resources department has cast doubt on this optimism, as it instructed all employees in West Bengal to take a 20-day leave due to unspecified “legal issues.” This decision follows increasing scrutiny from the Enforcement Directorate (ED), which has been investigating I-PAC since January. The ED has conducted raids on the consultancy’s offices across multiple cities and has summoned several of its directors for questioning, including a recent arrest of one of the key members.

The relationship between Trinamool Congress and I-PAC has been pivotal in shaping the party’s electoral strategies, particularly in light of the BJP’s rising influence in the state. I-PAC has been instrumental in organizing rallies, managing booth operations, and conducting voter outreach programs, all crucial elements for any political campaign.
