Congress Files Privilege Notice Against PM Modi as Bengal Prepares for Polls Amid Restrictions

Furthermore, tourists have been prohibited from visiting Digha, a well-known beach destination, in a bid to maintain order and security in the region.

In addition to these measures, the sale of alcoholic beverages has been halted for a period of 96 hours leading up to the election day, a standard practice aimed at curbing potential disruptions during the polling process.
