Viral Video of Police Assault on Women Workers in Noida Sparks Controversy

On April 13, a series of protests erupted in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, as factory workers rallied for improved wages and working conditions. Eyewitness accounts from professionals near the protest site reveal a shocking incident involving police brutality against female workers.

According to one observer, who was on the balcony of an office building during the protests, the situation escalated when police officers arrived and began to strike the demonstrators. “It was lunchtime, and I witnessed the police aggressively confronting the crowd,” the witness recounted. Another eyewitness emphasized that the majority of those being attacked were women, highlighting a specific incident where a female worker confronted the police about her rights, demanding to speak with female officers.
