Delhi Police Denies Permission for CJP’s Proposed March to Parliament on July 20

The Delhi Police announced on Sunday that no authorization has been granted for the Cockroach Janta Party’s (CJP) planned march to Parliament on July 20. The Deputy Commissioner of Police for New Delhi specified that the prohibitory orders currently in effect under Section 163 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita ban public gatherings in the New Delhi district.

The police emphasized that any protest marches, demonstrations, or assemblies involving five or more individuals are strictly forbidden unless they take place at the designated protest site at Jantar Mantar, and only with prior approval. They urged citizens to refrain from participating in any unauthorized gatherings, warning that violators would face prosecution under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and various other applicable laws.

This march is a significant part of the ongoing protests led by the Cockroach Janta Party, which is calling for the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.
