Bihar’s Khan Sir Faces Attempted Murder Charges Following Violent Incident Outside Coaching Institute

Bihar-based educator and popular YouTuber Faizal Khan, widely known as Khan Sir, has found himself embroiled in legal trouble after being booked for attempted murder. This development follows a violent episode outside his coaching institute, Khan Global Studies, in Patna on June 2. Reports suggest that two of Khan’s security guards claimed he ordered them to open fire during the confrontation.

The police have registered a first information report (FIR) under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, which pertains to attempted murder, as well as the Arms Act. The FIR also names the two guards and a group of unidentified associates. This serious turn of events has raised eyebrows, especially given Khan’s significant following as an educator and influencer on social media.

According to reports, the chaos erupted when a group allegedly vandalized the premises of Khan’s coaching center located in the Musallahpur area of Patna. Following the incident, Khan claimed that “eight to 10 rounds of gunfire” were exchanged, indicating a serious escalation of violence. He has suggested that business rivals might be behind the aggression against his institute, which could point to deeper competitive tensions in the coaching industry.

Sub-Inspector Anil Kumar from the Kadamkuan police station, who filed the complaint, confirmed that an investigation was launched after videos surfaced on social media, which purportedly showed gunfire outside the coaching center. Witnesses have reportedly identified the security personnel in these videos as employees of Khan Global Studies, asserting that they discharged two rounds of gunfire each.

As the situation unfolds, Khan has acknowledged that the individuals in the videos are indeed his security guards, which adds another layer of complexity to the case. While Khan has become a household name in Bihar for his unique teaching methods and online presence, this incident could have significant implications for his reputation and the future of his coaching institute amidst rising scrutiny.
