Sand City has gained attention as part of the Indian Film Festival of Los Angeles, which took place from April 23 to 26, and is poised for release in Bangladesh. The film, with a runtime of 100 minutes, showcases Hasan’s skillful storytelling, having also written and edited the script himself. The cinematography, executed by Mathieu Giombini, further enhances the film’s exploration of urban life through what film scholars refer to as urban sensorium cinema.
