Retired Air Marshal Jeetendra Mishra Appointed First CEO of Ram Temple Trust

In a significant development for the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, the organization overseeing the Ram temple in Ayodhya, retired Air Marshal Jeetendra Mishra has been appointed as its inaugural Chief Executive Officer. Jeetendra Mishra is a distinguished veteran of the Indian Air Force, having previously commanded the Western Air Command during the critical Operation Sindoor, which targeted terrorist bases in Pakistan following the Pahalgam terror attack. His commendable service earned him the Sarvottam Yudh Seva Medal, awarded to only a select few military officers for their exceptional performance during the operation. Alongside Mishra’s appointment, the trust has also welcomed three new members: Mahesh Bhagchandka, Madan Mohan Pandey, and Nirmala Yadav. These changes come in the wake of recent resignations from notable trustees, including Vishwa Hindu Parishad leader Champat Rai and trustee Anil Mishra, both of whom stepped down following claims of embezzlement involving donations meant for the temple. The trust faced further disruption with the passing of Vimlendra Pratap Mishra, a member of Ayodhya’s former royal family, which created another vacancy that needed to be filled.

In a press release following a meeting of the trust’s members, the organization emphasized its commitment to transparency and efficient management, stating that discussions on various significant topics had taken place.
