Similarly, he’s an actor, and I don’t know how he will be as a chief minister,” Suman remarked with a hopeful yet cautious smile, suggesting that time will reveal the effectiveness of this new leadership.

The electoral battle also marked a significant defeat for MK Stalin, the incumbent Chief Minister and leader of the DMK, who lost his seat to a candidate from Vijay’s party.
