Kolkata, June 13: A team of West Bengal Police, accompanied by central security personnel, conducted a search operation at the Kalighat residence of Trinamool Congress leader and MP Abhishek Banerjee early on Friday morning.

According to reports, the search team entered the premises after opening a locked gate and allegedly searched the residence in an effort to locate an individual described as Abhishek Banerjee’s personal assistant. The operation continued for several hours.

After completing the search, the police team left the residence. No official statement was immediately available regarding any evidence or material recovered during the operation.

During the course of the search, Mamata Banerjee reportedly visited the residence.

কলকাতা, ১৩ জুন: তৃণমূল কংগ্রেসের নেতা ও সাংসদ অভিষেক বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায়ের কালীঘাটের বাসভবনে শুক্রবার ভোরে পশ্চিমবঙ্গ পুলিশের একটি দল কেন্দ্রীয় বাহিনীর সদস্যদের সঙ্গে নিয়ে তল্লাশি অভিযান চালায়।
